When you compare the two documents, all the changes are visible in track mode. ## To Compare Document Versions 1. On the Contract Details page, click on the **Compare Versions** icon at the top. 2. Select the two versions of the document you want to compare: the **Base version** and the **Revised version**. > **Info — Note** > > You can also download the previous versions from here. 3. The changes will be in track mode, showing inserted and deleted text. Carefully review the highlighted changes to ensure they are correct before approving them. The negotiator sends version 1 of the contract to the counterparty for external review. 2. The counterparty reviews the contract and sends back version 2 with their changes. 3. The negotiator compares version 1 (Base version) and version 2 (Revised version) using the Leegality Deal Collaboration’s comparison feature. 4. The software shows all changes made by the counterparty in version 2 compared to version 1 in track mode. 5. The negotiator reviews the changes, if the changes are acceptable, the negotiator can approve them. Otherwise, they can edit the document and send it for external review. By following these steps, users can effectively compare document versions, ensuring all changes are thoroughly reviewed and approved, maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the contract throughout the negotiation process.
