A legal reviewer may want to track status and counterparty, while a business owner may care more about deal value and renewal date. The **Configurable Columns and Saved Views** feature lets each user shape the Contracts page to match their workflow. This feature gives you two key capabilities: - **Curated views** — Display only the data points you actually need, keeping the Contracts page clean and relevant to your role. - **Repeated use** — Save your column and filter combinations so you don't have to reconfigure them each time you open the page. By default, when you open the Contracts page, a **Default View** is applied showing a standard set of columns. You can switch to a saved view at any time using the **views dropdown** in the page header, or create a new view of your own. ## Configure Columns The **Configure Columns** option lets you choose which data points appear as columns on the Contracts page. You can pick from a combination of general contract fields (such as Status, Counterparty, Create Date, Update Date) and active variables (both default and custom) used in your templates. The **Configure Columns** button is located at the top-right of the Contracts page header. 1. Click **Configure Columns**. 2. In the dropdown, select or deselect the data points you want to display. There is no limit on the number of columns you can select. 3. Click **Apply**. Your custom column view is now active on the Contracts page. > **Info — Note** > > **Document Name** is a constant column and is always displayed. It cannot be removed from the view. ## Apply Filters to the View Once your columns are configured, you can further narrow down the contracts displayed using filters. Filters work alongside the column selection — your chosen columns control **what data** you see, while filters control **which contracts** are listed. 1. Click the **Filters** option. 2. Use the checkboxes under each filter to select the values you want to apply. 3. To start over, click **Clear All** to deselect all selected filters. 4. Click **Apply** to apply the selected filters. > **Tip — Reference** > > For a full breakdown of the available filters, including general filters (Status, Template, Counterparty, dates) and variable-based filters, see [**Filter Contracts**](https://knowledge.leegality.com/deal-collaboration/Contracts/find-contracts). ## Save a View A **Saved View** captures your current column configuration along with the filters applied to the Contracts page. Saved views are useful when you regularly need the same slice of contracts — for example, a legal user can save a view that shows all contracts under internal review, while a business owner can save a view that lists all contracts expiring this quarter. To save your current column configuration and filters for repeated future use: 1. Click **Save your new view**. 2. Enter a **View Name**. 3. Select the **Visibility**: - **Team** — Makes the view accessible to your entire team. - **Private** — Keeps the view visible only to you. 4. Click **Save**. Your saved views are accessible from the **views dropdown** in the Contracts page header. There is no limit on the number of saved views per account. > **Info — Note** > > **Team** views are shared across every user in your organisation, so any change you make to a team view affects what others see. Use **Private** if the view is meant only for your own workflow. ## Edit a Saved View You can update the name or visibility of a saved view at any time. This is useful when a view needs to be renamed for clarity, or when a private view needs to be shared with the rest of the team (or vice versa). 1. Select the saved view from the dropdown. 2. Click **More Options**. 3. Click **Edit Details**. 4. Update the **View Name** or **Visibility** as needed. 5. Click **Save**. ## Delete a Saved View If a saved view is no longer needed, you can remove it from the views dropdown. 1. Select the saved view from the dropdown. 2. Click **More Options**. 3. Click **Delete**. 4. A confirmation pop-up appears — click **Delete** to confirm. > **Warning — Important** > > Deleting a **Team** view removes it for everyone in the organisation.
