Go to the **Contracts** from the left. 2. Click on the **Filters** on the top-right corner. 3. Select criteria to filter contracts. 4. Click on **Apply**. Contracts matching the applied criteria will be displayed. In the Filters panel, the selected filters are displayed at the top. To reset all applied filters, simply click the **Clear All** button in the Filters panel. ## Types of Filters Filters in the Contracts section are divided into two types: **General Filters** and **Variable-Based Filters**. ### General Filters General filters help you search for contracts based on their status, template used, counterparty, and creation or update date. * **Status:** You can filter contracts based on their current stage in the workflow. Available status options include: * Under Internal Review * Ready for External Review * External Review * Negotiation Internal * Negotiation External * Ready for Signing * Sent for Signing * Executed * Discarded * **Template:** Allows you to search for contracts by the name of the template used. You can select multiple templates simultaneously to broaden your search. * **Counterparty:** Allows you to search by **counterparty name**. Like the Template filter, you can select multiple counterparties. * **Create Date**: Filters contracts by the **date of creation**. Options include filtering by predefined periods such as days, months, quarters, or years. You can also specify a **custom date range**. * **Update Date:** This option allows you to filter contracts by the **last update date**. You can use predefined periods or select a **custom date range**. ### Variable-Based Filters Variable-based filters allow you to search and filter contracts based on the specific data entered into these dynamic fields. This makes it easier to locate contracts that match criteria like contract term, renewal date, etc. For example, in a template, a default variable like "Deal Value" is added. When a contract is initiated using that template, the initiator fills in the actual value of the deal. You can then filter contracts based on deal values using options like "less than," "greater than," or "equal to" a specific value. > **Info — Note** > > - Only active variables will be shown as filter options. > - Both Default and Custom Variables are supported in the filter. > **Tip — Reference** > > Learn more about [**Global Variables**](https://knowledge.leegality.com/deal-collaboration/Settings/global-variables). #### **Default Variable Filters** Below is a list of the system's default variables that can be used for filtering contracts. **Custom variables** can also be used similarly in the filters if they are active. * **Effective Date:** Filter contracts by the date they became effective. * **Deal Value:** * A field to input a specific deal value. * A dropdown to choose filtering criteria (e.g., Less than, Less than or equal to, Greater than, Greater than or equal to and Equals to). * **Region:** Filter contracts based on the specific region. * **Location:** Filter contracts by location. * **Counterparty:** Enter the counterparty name involved in the contract. * **Counterparty Signatory:** Filter by the name of the counterparty’s signatory. * **Deal Type:** Filter contracts by their deal type. * **Description of Services:** Filter contracts based on the description of service. * **Expiry Date:** Filter contracts by their expiry date. * **Renewal Date:** Filter contracts by their renewal date. * **Term Filters:** These allow you to filter contracts by their duration. * **Term (Months):** Enter the number of months and use the dropdown to filter by Less than, Less than or equal to, Greater than, Greater than or equal to and Equals to the specified number of months. * **Term (Years):** Enter the number of years and filter similarly. * **Term (Days):** Enter the number of days and filter accordingly. * **Payment Date:** Filter contracts by their payment date.
