Use it to see where things stand. When you need the The Obligations Dashboard shows how your obligations and their tasks are tracking across all your contracts. Use it to see where things stand. When you need the full list, or need to act on an obligation, go to [Manage](https://knowledge.leegality.com/deal-collaboration/Obligations/manage-obligations). ![Obligations Dashboard](https://knowledge.leegality.com/img/DC_Obligations_Dashboard.png) ## What Each Part Shows 1. **Active with Due Date**: The number of active obligations that have a due date, across all your contracts. Obligations without a due date are not counted here, so a low number can mean due dates are missing rather than that there is little to do. 2. **My Active Obligations**: The number of active obligations assigned to you. Use this to see your own workload without filtering the full list. 3. **View obligations**: Opens the full list in [Manage](https://knowledge.leegality.com/deal-collaboration/Obligations/manage-obligations). 4. **Period selector**: Sets the reporting window. Choose **30D**, **3M**, **6M** or **1Y**, or set your own dates with **Custom range**. > **Info — Note** > > The period does not change the whole dashboard. It applies only to the **Completed** and **Expired** counts and to the trend chart. The two counts in the banner always show today's position, and the priority, category and task counts always cover all time. 5. **Completed**: Obligations marked as met during the selected period. Selecting this tile also draws its figures on the trend chart below. Click **View** to open these obligations in [Manage](https://knowledge.leegality.com/deal-collaboration/Obligations/manage-obligations). 6. **Expired**: Obligations marked as no longer applicable during the selected period. Expired is something a person sets. It does not happen on its own when a contract reaches its end date. Selecting this tile draws its figures on the trend chart instead. Click **View** to open these obligations in [Manage](https://knowledge.leegality.com/deal-collaboration/Obligations/manage-obligations). 7. **Trend chart**: Plots the selected tile month by month across the period, so you can see whether closure is keeping pace. If there is nothing to show, it reads *No data for this period*. 8. **By Priority**: Splits your obligations into Critical, High, Medium and Low. The four always appear in that order, and a priority with nothing against it shows as zero rather than disappearing, so the shape of the split stays readable. Click a bar to open those obligations in [Manage](https://knowledge.leegality.com/deal-collaboration/Obligations/manage-obligations). 9. **By Category**: Splits your obligations by [category](https://knowledge.leegality.com/deal-collaboration/Obligations/Settings/obligation-categories). Only the five largest categories appear on their own. Everything else is grouped into **Others**, which keeps the breakdown legible when you have many categories. Click a bar to open those obligations in [Manage](https://knowledge.leegality.com/deal-collaboration/Obligations/manage-obligations). **Others** is a grouping rather than a real category, so it cannot be opened. 10. **Obligation Tasks**: Four counts covering the tasks your obligations have generated. - **Ongoing**: created and waiting for action. - **Breached**: not completed within the turnaround time. - **Resolved**: completed. - **Task Conflicts**: obligations that need attention because their due date or task setup can no longer be trusted. See [Conflicts](https://knowledge.leegality.com/deal-collaboration/Obligations/obligations-overview#conflicts). Ongoing, Breached and Resolved count individual tasks. Task Conflicts counts obligations, so an obligation with several conflicts is counted once. Each count has a **View** link that opens the matching items in [Manage](https://knowledge.leegality.com/deal-collaboration/Obligations/manage-obligations). 11. **Export**: Downloads the dashboard as an Excel workbook. It contains a single **Overview** sheet with the summary in sections, covering active obligations, completed and expired, tasks, priority and category. > **Info — Note** > > If your access is limited to the documents assigned to you, every number on this page counts only those documents, matching what you see everywhere else in the module. ## Related Pages - [What is an Obligation?](https://knowledge.leegality.com/deal-collaboration/Obligations/obligations-overview) - [Managing Obligations](https://knowledge.leegality.com/deal-collaboration/Obligations/manage-obligations) - [Adding an Obligation](https://knowledge.leegality.com/deal-collaboration/Obligations/add-obligation)
