Rule Sets are collections of rules that guide AI in reviewing your contracts. Think of a Rule Set as a checklist and each Rule as an item on that checklist. When AI reviews your documents, it needs to know what to look for—specific clauses, conditions, terms, or compliance requirements. Rule Sets ensure the AI review is: - **Consistent** across all your documents - **Customized** to your organization's requirements - **Reusable** without reconfiguring for each document ## How Rule Sets and Rules Work Together Each Rule Set is a collection of related rules. One Rule Set can contain multiple Rules, allowing you to organize your review criteria logically. **Important Limits:** - Each Rule Set must contain **at least 1 rule** - Each Rule Set can contain **up to 50 rules** - You can create **unlimited** Rule Sets ## Create a Rule Set ### 1. Navigate to the Rule Set tab 1. From the **Settings** page, click the **Rule Set** tab. A table showing all configured rule sets appears. 2. Click **+ Add Rule Set** to begin creating a new rule set. ### 2. Enter rule set details 1. In the **Name** field, enter a unique name for the rule set. 2. In the **Description** field, provide a brief summary of the rule set's purpose. This is optional. 3. Click **Proceed**. A new window opens for you to define rules within the rule set. ## Add Rules to a Rule Set ### 1. Add a rule 1. Click **+ Add Rule**. A configuration panel appears on the right side of the screen. ### 2. Configure rule details 1. In the **Rule** field, define the condition or logic the AI will use to review the document. This is a mandatory field. 2. In the **Rule Description** field, provide a brief summary that explains the rule's purpose and scope. 3. In the **Suggested Clause** field, enter a recommended alternative clause to ensure compliance. You can modify this clause as needed before finalizing the contract. > **Info — Character Limits** > > Each field— **Rule, Rule Description**, and **Suggested Clause** —can accommodate up to 2000 characters. 4. Click **Save** to save the rule and return to the rule set overview page. > **Info — NOTE** > > A confirmation message, "Rule added successfully!" appears. 5. To add more rules, click **Add New Rule**. 6. Once you have added all rules, click **Finish** to complete the process. > **Tip — Best Practice** > > While **Rule Description** and **Suggested Clause** are optional, providing them clearly helps the AI deliver more accurate and actionable reviews.
