# Set expiry of signing link

Set expiry of signing link allows you to set the expiry timeline of the document.

## Configuring Expiry Duration  

When setting the expiry duration for a document, the following options apply:  

- **Minimum Expiry (45 minutes):** Set by entering `-1`.  
- **Same-Day Expiry:** Entering `0` sets the invite to expire at 11:59:59 PM on the day it is sent.  
- **Custom Expiry (1+ Days):** Entering any number greater than `0` specifies the number of days the invite will remain valid.

## How to Set Expiry

> If no expiry duration is specified, the eSign invitation will default to a validity of 10 days.

## Invitee Experience

Once the document is expired, the email/SMS notification will be sent to the invitee.
