These reference attachments are accessible to invitees during their signing journey, providing them with supplementary information or context related to the document. ## Use a Reference Attachment #### V3 Workflow 1. On the Invite Configuration page, select **Signing Journey Options** on the bottom left. 2. Then toggle on **Upload reference attachments for invitees**. 3. Upload the Reference attachment and give it a suitable name. 4. After the reference document is selected, click the **Upload** button to attach the reference document. #### Workflow Creation Upload Reference Attachment option is not available for Workflow. #### V4 Workflow 1. In the **Create** stage, open the primary document's details in the **Configure Documents** section. 2. Enable the **Reference Attachment** toggle. 3. Upload the reference file and give it a suitable name. Supported file types are **PDF, JPEG, PNG, or JPG**. **Note:** The reference attachments' total file size must be **5 MB or smaller**. #### Workflow Creation 1. Supported file types are **PDF, JPEG, PNG, or JPG**. **Note:** The reference attachments' total file size must be **5 MB or smaller**. > **Info — Note** > > A reference attachment size should be less than 5MB. ## Accessing Reference Attachments During the Signing Journey Invitees can view and download reference attachments provided by the sender during their signing journey. #### V3 Workflow To access reference attachments: 1. Click the **Attachment** icon (📎) located on the top-left side of the screen. 2. A list of all reference attachments will appear. 3. Click **Preview** to view the attachment or **Download** to save it to your device. #### V4 Workflow To access reference attachments: 1. Click the **Attachment** icon (📎) located on the top-left side of the screen. 2. A list of all reference attachments will appear. 3. Click **Preview** to view the attachment or **Download** to save it to your device.
