They receive notifications to ensure they are informed about the invitee and document's status. #### When to Use a CC Invitee CC invitees can be used in scenarios where individuals need to: - Receive notifications when invitations are sent to other invitees. - Stay informed about actions such as signing, approving, or rejecting by other invitees. - Be updated when the document is completed. - Be alerted about failure events like verification failure, expired invitations, or document deletions. ## Activate CC Invitee > **Info — Note** > > CC email notifications are not related to the Invitee Level email notification settings. > **Info — Note** > > The sender can *delete* a CC invitee at any point and effective immediately any further notifications will not be sent to that invitee.
