# CC Invitee

A CC (Carbon Copy) Invitee is someone added to a document to stay updated on its progress. They receive notifications to ensure they are informed about the invitee and document's status.

#### When to Use a CC Invitee

CC invitees can be used in scenarios where individuals need to:

- Receive notifications when invitations are sent to other invitees.
- Stay informed about actions such as signing, approving, or rejecting by other invitees.
- Be updated when the document is completed.
- Be alerted about failure events like verification failure, expired invitations, or document deletions.
