This feature ensures that documents undergo a review process, allowing the reviewer to validate and approve the content before it proceeds to the designated signatories for signing. ## Activate Reviewer Role > **Info — Note** > > - If the Record the Reviewer’s Response option is enabled, all security check information will also be mentioned in the audit trail upon document completion. > - Signing order is mandatory if at least one invitee is a Reviewer. ## Reviewer Journey 1. The invitee receives a notification to review the document. 2. Click **Review** to be redirected to the Reviewer journey page. 3. Preview the document. - If you are the first invitee and the **Allow first invitee to fill** option is enabled for a template document, you can fill out the template fields before proceeding. 4. After reviewing, click **Proceed**. 5. Complete OTP authentication, if required. 6. Choose to either: - **Approve** the document. - **Reject** the document. 7. Click **Submit**, check the consent box, and confirm the action by clicking **Approve Document** or **Reject Document**. > **Info** > > If the Sender is the Reviewer, they cannot reject the document. ## Post Review ### Upon Approval - The next invitee in the signing order will receive their invitation. - The sender will be notified of the approval. ### Upon Rejection - The next invitee will not receive their invitation. - The sender can manually activate the next invitee's invitation from the Details page if needed. - On the Public Details page, the invitee card of the reviewer who rejected the document will display a View Message button (if the reviewer entered a message). Clicking it will open a side menu with: - The reviewer's message content. - Additional invitee-related information. > **Info — eSign Credit Consumption** > > eSign credits are deducted when the document is approved. No credits are deducted if the document is rejected by a reviewer.
