It helps you confirm whether a notification was successfully delivered to invitees or encountered any delivery issues. By checking the Notification Logs, you gain real-time visibility into notification delivery, including: * Tracking each notification sent to the invitee * Viewing the status (e.g., sent, delivered, read, or failed) * Checking the time and date of each notification * Monitoring notifications across all delivery channels (Email, SMS, or WhatsApp) ## How to Access Notification Logs To view the Notification Logs for a specific document: 1. Click on **Documents** at the top of the page. 2. Locate the document whose notification logs you want to check. You can search using the **Document ID**, **Document Name**, or **IRN**. 3. Click on the document name to open the detailed view. 4. In the invitee list, find the specific invitee's card. 5. Click on the **Three Dots (⋮)** on the top-right corner of the invitee card and select **Notification Logs**. A pop-up window will appear displaying the notification logs for the chosen invitee. > **Info — Note** > > Only notifications from the last 10 days are available in the logs. ## Details in Notification Logs ![Notifications Logs](https://knowledge.leegality.com/img/notification-logs-details.png) ### Channel The medium through which the notification was sent (SMS, Email, or WhatsApp). In the top-right corner, you will find the contact details of the invitee. * **Email only visible:** Notifications are sent to the email address. * **Phone number with message icon:** Notifications are sent via SMS. * **Phone number with WhatsApp icon:** WhatsApp is the primary mode of communication, but SMS is still sent in cases like virtual sign OTP verification. * **Both email and phone number (with SMS or WhatsApp icon):** Notifications are sent to both the email address and phone number (via WhatsApp or SMS). ### Notification Type The type of notification sent to the invitee. Please ensure the recipient’s phone number is correct and linked with WhatsApp | The message could not be sent because either phone number was incorrect or not linked with WhatsApp. | Check the number and resend the message. | | | Email | Delay in delivery due to network issues | There is a temporary issue affecting the delivery of the notification. This could be caused by problems with the recipient's email server or internet connectivity. | Monitor the status and check if the notification is delivered. If not, try resending the notification later. | | | | Failed\! The recipient's email inbox is full or the email account is inactive | The recipient cannot receive more emails until they clear space. | Ask the invitee to clear their inbox. | | | | Delivery failed\! The recipient's email is on the suppression list. Please ensure the recipient’s email ID is correct and active | Verify that the address you entered is valid. | Verify the email address. | ### Timestamp The date and time when the notification was sent. ### View Notification Specific Logs Displays all logs (sent, delivered, read) for a particular event notification. This makes it simple to track the status of any notification without having to search through the main table. > **Info — Example** > > Suppose you want to check the status of a Document Invite sent via WhatsApp to the above invitee, including when it was sent, delivered, and read. > > To do this, locate the Document Invite sent via WhatsApp in the logs and click the **View** button. This will display all stages of that specific notification, allowing you to easily track its progress. ## Filtering and Sorting * **Date Range Filter:** View logs for a time duration. There are predefined date filters such as last 5 days, today, yesterday, or a custom range. * **Change the Log Sort Order:** You can sort the logs by timestamp. By default, recent logs will appear at the top. * **Channel Filters:** You can view notifications specific to a channel (Email, SMS, WhatsApp), allowing you to isolate potential issues with specific delivery methods. * **Notification Type Filter:** Users can search for specific types of notifications, such as Document Invite or Document Complete, which helps in narrowing down what you need to check.
