The details provided by the sender in the NeSL form (or Excel) during the sending process are cross-checked against the invitee's information at NeSL. To get this feature enabled, please reach out to us at support@leegality.com. To check if NeSL Validation is enabled for your account, 1. Click on the settings icon in the right corner. 2. From left, select **Department > NeSL Config**. 3. Click **Details** of the appropriate **NeSL Profile**. The **NeSL Aadhaar Validation** will be enabled. > This information is for reference only and cannot be edited from the dashboard. > **Warning — These checks cannot be bypassed** > > If NeSL enables this functionality for an organisation and a specific registration type (Lending, Non-Lending, or eBG), validation checks become mandatory for all documents and invitees under that registration type. ## Sending Journey If NeSL validation is enabled, the following invitee details are verified: * **Name:** Must have at least a 75% match. * **Year of birth:** Requires an exact match. * **Gender:** Requires an exact match. > **Warning — Mandatory Fields** > > The sender must fill out all Name, Year of Birth, and Gender in the NeSL form during the sending journey. When NeSL Aadhaar validation is active, the NeSL Aadhaar validation is performed first, followed by Leegality Aadhaar verification (if enabled). ## NeSL Aadhaar Validation Results in Signing Journey ### ✅ Validation Successful * If the invitee's details match, NeSL validation will succeed, and the signing journey will continue smoothly. * If Leegality Aadhaar verification is enabled, it will take place after NeSL validation, allowing the signing journey to proceed as usual. ### ❌ Validation Fail * If the invitee's details do not match and NeSL validation fails, the invitee’s signature will not be applied to the document, and the signing URL will expire for only the invitee with failed validation. * The signing journey will continue for any other NeSL invitees (if present), as NeSL does not allow the signing journey to be paused mid-process. * Once all NeSL invitees are signed, the signing journey will pause for non-NeSL invitees that are next in the signing order. The document will not be activated, and they will not receive the eSign invitation. In case of NeSL validation failure, the sender needs to send the document again with the correct NeSL invitee details. ## NeSL Validation with Leegality Aadhaar validation | NeSL Aadhaar Validation | Leegality Validation | Leegality Validation’s acceptance condition (*In case of failure, allow the NeSL invitee to sign, but:*) | Can Invitee Sign? | Does Invitation Expires? | Signing Journey — Pause or Continue | | :---- | :---- | :---- | :---- | :---- | :---- | | Pass | Pass | Respond with result Or Pause Signing Journey | Yes | No | Continue | | Pass | Fail | Respond with result | Yes | No | Continue | | Pass | Fail | Pause Signing Journey | Yes | No | Pause | | Fail | Will not be checked | Respond with result Or Pause Signing Journey | No | Yes | The journey will **Continue for NeSL signers only**. If there are non-NeSL signers in the signing order then the journey will be paused for them. |
