The signature types available to a sender depend on the account configuration. You can use the eSignature Settings page to choose the signature types available for an account. ## Enable eSign Types for senders 1. Click on the **Setting ⚙️** icon on the top right corner. 2. Go to **Department > eSignature**. This will show you all available eSign types. 3. Use the toggle switch to add them to the sending journeys. 4. Some eSign types have sub-types, for example, Aadhaar eSign has OTP, Biometric, IRIS, and Face. You can add them individually. All toggled-on eSign types are now available to senders when they create a new document. ### Set the Default eSign Type You can set the default eSign type to apply to signers when senders have not specified any during the sending journey. Only one signature can be assigned as a default. 1. Click on the **Setting ⚙️** icon on the top right corner. 2. Go to **Department > eSignature**. 3. Find the signature type you want to set by default and click on the **✔** icon right next to it. 4. A confirmation message will show in the top right corner. The default eSign type will be pre-selected during every new document journey. However, the sender can choose others as required. ## Configure Certificate Verification Settings You can configure how Leegality verifies signer information against their digital signature certificate. This includes setting verification parameters, choosing between AI-based or text-based name matching, and defining actions for verification failures. > **Info — Prerequisites** > > Ensure that the eSign type (Aadhaar eSign or DSC Token) is enabled in your department settings before configuring verification parameters. #### Aadhaar eSign ### Configuring Aadhaar eSign Verification **Steps to Configure:** 1.
