This guide explains how to edit an existing stamp series. > **Warning — Edit Access Required** > > Only users with **edit access** can create and edit stamp series in the **Stamp Procurement Panel**. ## Editable and Non-Editable Fields ### Editable Fields You can modify the following information in an existing stamp series: - **Series Name** - **First Party Name** - **Purchased By** - **Stamp Duty Paid By** - **Legend Content** - **Shipping Information** (POC Name, Phone, Email, Address) ### Non-Editable Fields The following fields **cannot be changed** once a stamp series has been created: - **State**: The state selection is permanent and cannot be modified - **Purpose/Article Code**: The legal classification cannot be changed - **Denomination**: The stamp duty value is fixed - **Second Party Name**: The name of the second party cannot be modified after series creation These restrictions ensure compliance with stamp duty regulations and prevent misuse of procured stamp papers. ## How to Edit a Stamp Series Follow these steps to make changes to an existing stamp series: 1. Log in to the **Stamp Procurement Panel** using your authorized email and OTP verification. 2. From the dashboard, locate the stamp series you want to edit in the inventory table. 3. Click the **View** button on the right side of the stamp series row. 4. A right-side panel will slide open, displaying the complete details of the selected stamp series. 5. Click the **Edit** button to enable editing mode for the stamp series. 6. The fields that can be modified will become editable, while locked fields remain grayed out. Update any of the editable fields as needed: > **Warning — Document ID Required** > > Do not remove or modify the Document ID in the legend content. This unique identifier is essential for linking stamp papers to their corresponding documents. 7. Once you have made all necessary modifications, click the **Save** button to apply the changes to the stamp series. - A confirmation message will appear indicating the series has been updated successfully. - The details panel will close, and you will return to the dashboard with the updated series information displayed. 8. If you decide not to save your modifications, click the **Cancel** button. A confirmation popup will appear with two options: - **Keep Editing**: Returns you to the editing panel without discarding changes, allowing you to continue making modifications. - **Discard Changes**: Closes the editing panel and returns you to the dashboard without saving any of your changes. > **Tip — Need Help?** > > If you have questions about editing stamp series or encounter issues, contact the Leegality support team at **support@leegality.com**.
