[**Purchase Stamp Papers**](https://knowledge.leegality.com/document-execution/stamps/stamp-series/purchase-stamp-series) #### New Document Journey ### Use Stamps in New Document Journey Enable the **Use Stamps** toggle switch. #### Use Stamp Series 1. Enable the **Use Stamp Series** toggle switch. 2. **Single Stamp:** Use one stamp from a single stamp series. - Select the Stamp Series using the dropdown. One stamp from the selected series will be attached to the document. 3. **Multiple Stamps:** Use multiple stamps from multiple stamp series. - Select the Stamp Series using the dropdown. - Enter the number of stamps you want to attach from the selected stamp series. (**Note:** Minimum quantity: 1, Maximum quantity: 99) - Click **\+ Add More** to add stamps from another stamp series. Select the stamp series from the dropdown and specify the stamp quantity. (**Note:** Up to 15 stamp series can be added). >**Note:** If using multiple stamp series, all must be from the same state. It is used for value-based stamping, where stamps of different values are selected to match (approximately) a specific total amount. > **Tip — Prerequisite** > > You must have created a stamp group. Learn [**how to create a stamp group**](https://knowledge.leegality.com/document-execution/stamps/stamp-group/stamp-groups#create-a-stamp-group). 1. Enable the **Use Stamp Group** toggle switch. 2. Select a stamp group from the dropdown. 3. Enter the stamp amount. - Based on the entered amount, Leegality automatically calculates the number of stamps required and attaches them to the document. The system selects stamps from your chosen group to ensure the total stamp value matches (approximately) the required amount. --- ### Upload Stamp in New Document Journey If you have a physical stamp paper (or PDF), you can attach it to the document. 1. Enable the **Upload Stamp** toggle switch. 2. Provide the following information: - **State** - **Denomination** - **First Party's Name** - **Second Party's Name** - **Stamp Serial Number** 3. Upload the stamp paper’s PDF file and click **Save**. #### Workflow Creation ### Use Stamps in a Workflow Enable the **Use Stamps** toggle switch. #### Use Stamp Series 1. Enable the **Use Stamp Series** toggle switch. 2. **Single Stamp:** Use one stamp from a single stamp series. - The workflow creator has two options: 1. Select a stamp series. A stamp from that series will be automatically affixed to the document when the workflow runs. (**Note:** The workflow runner cannot remove or change the selected stamp series.) 2. Leave the stamp series selection blank, allowing the workflow runner to choose a stamp series when running the workflow. (**Note:** The workflow runner must select a stamp series.) 3. **Multiple Stamps:** Use multiple stamps from multiple stamp series. - The workflow creator has two options: 1. Select the stamp series and specify the number of stamps to be attached from each series. These will be automatically affixed to the document when the workflow runs. (**Note:** The workflow runner cannot remove or modify the selected series.) >**Note:** Stamp minimum quantity: 1, maximum quantity: 99 2. Leave placeholders (Stamp Series and Number of Stamps) blank. The workflow runner can choose the stamp series and number of stamps when running the workflow. - **Example:** If the workflow has placeholders for two stamp series: - The workflow runner must select the stamp series and specify the number of stamps. - They can use one or both stamp series (using both is not mandatory). - If using multiple stamp series, all must be from the same state. --- #### Use Stamp Group > **Tip — Prerequisite** > > You must have created a stamp group. Enable the **Use Stamp Group** toggle switch. - The workflow creator has three options: 1. **Leave placeholders (Stamp Group and Stamp Amount) blank**, allowing the workflow runner to select the stamp group and enter the stamp amount when running the workflow. 2. **Fix a stamp group but leave the stamp amount blank**, allowing the workflow runner to specify the stamp amount. The system will automatically affix the required stamps. 3. **Fix both the stamp group and stamp amount**, preventing the workflow runner from modifying them while running the workflow. --- ### Upload Stamp in a Workflow 1. Enable the **Upload Stamp** toggle switch. - The workflow creator has the following options: 1. Leave all stamp details blank, requiring the workflow runner to enter all details and upload the stamp paper. 2. Pre-fill the **State, Denomination, and First & Second Party’s Name** during workflow creation. The workflow runner will only need to provide the **Stamp Serial Number** and upload the stamp paper.
