# Create a New HTML Template

HTML Templates allow you to create documents from scratch using an HTML-based editor. This   provides flexibility and customization, letting you design documents that fit your specific needs without being restricted by a predefined layout. This guide walks you through creating a new HTML template from scratch.

>
> * Template creation and modification are restricted to Administrators (Organization accounts) or the Account Owner (Individual accounts). 
>     * Once created, templates are available for use by all users within the organization.

## How to Create a New HTML Template

1. Log in to your Leegality account.
2. Navigate to the **Templates** section from the main dashboard.
3. Click **+ Create** to open a popup window.
4. Enter the template name in the field provided.
5. Select **HTML Template** as the template type.
6. Click **Proceed**.

The HTML Template editor will open, allowing you to start building your document.
