Place your cursor where you want the character to appear. 2. On the toolbar, click **Insert Special Character**. 3. An elaborate list of special characters will open. 4. Click on the character you want to include. The selected character will appear in your document at the cursor position. ## Manage special characters Once inserted, special characters can be managed like regular text: ### Delete a special character 1. Position your cursor at the special character. 2. Press **Backspace** or **Delete** on your keyboard. ### Copy, cut, or paste special characters 1. Select the special character in your document. 2. **Right-click** on the selected character. 3. Choose **Copy**, **Cut**, or **Paste** from the menu. > **Info** > > Special characters behave exactly like regular text once inserted. You can format, move, copy, or delete them using the same methods you use for normal text. ## Common special characters The special character picker includes: - **Currency symbols:** ₹ (Rupee), $ (Dollar), € (Euro), £ (Pound), ¥ (Yen) - **Mathematical symbols:** × (Multiplication), ÷ (Division), ± (Plus-Minus), ≠ (Not Equal) - **Legal symbols:** © (Copyright), ® (Registered), ™ (Trademark), § (Section) - **Punctuation:** • (Bullet), … (Ellipsis), – (En Dash), — (Em Dash) - **Arrows and symbols:** → ← ↑ ↓ ★ ☑ ☐ - **Accented characters:** á é í ó ú ñ ç > **Tip** > > For frequently used special characters, you can copy them once and paste them wherever needed throughout your template.
