You can also download form fields, generate PDFs, and save your work. ## Preview your template Check how your template will appear to users: 1. In the HTML Template editor, click the **Preview** button. 2. The preview window will open showing your template. 3. Review the layout, formatting, and form fields. 4. Click **Close Preview** or **Edit** to return to the editor. > **Info** > > Preview mode shows your template with placeholder text in all dynamic fields. This helps you check the overall layout and design. > **Tip** > > Always preview your template after making significant changes. This helps catch issues before using the template in production. ## Filled document preview See how your template looks with sample data filled in: 1. Click the **Preview** button. 2. Fill in sample data in the fields panel on the right. 3. Click **Filled Document Preview**. 4. Review how the completed document will look with actual data. > **Tip** > > Use Filled Document Preview to test how your template handles different data lengths and edge cases. This is particularly useful for checking text overflow and field sizing. ## Download form fields Export your template's form field configuration as a JSON file: 1. Locate the **Download Form Fields** button in the top-right corner. 2. Click the button. 3. A JSON file will download to your computer. This JSON file contains all the form field definitions, groups, and configurations from your template. ## Generate PDF Create a PDF version of your template: 1. In the editor or preview mode, click **Generate PDF**. 2. The template will appear as a PDF. 3. You can print the PDF or download it to your computer. > **Info** > > The generated PDF reflects your current template design. Use this to share your template layout or to print physical copies for review. ## Save your template The template automatically saves your work as you edit. You can also manually save: 1. Click the **Save** button in the toolbar. 2. Wait for the confirmation message. 3. Continue editing or close the editor. > **Info — NOTE** > > Templates auto-save every few seconds, so you don't need to manually save frequently. The Save button is available if you want to ensure your latest changes are saved before closing the editor.
