# GET /api/v1/certificates/{id} — Get certificate by ID

The API retrieves a certificate by its ID for the current user's organization. It fetches the complete certificate information including name, type, expiry date, creation date, and department assignment. Note that the API does NOT return the actual certificate file or passkey (security reasons).

**Authentication:** `X-Auth-Token` header required on every request.
