To access the section, 1. Navigate to **Settings** page. 2. Select **Audit Logs** from the sidebar. ### 1. Filtering and Date Range - **Date Range**: Users can filter the displayed events by selecting a custom date range using the **Select date range** option. This allows for focused analysis of activity during specific periods. - **Total Results**: The total number of records matching the current filter (or the entire history, if no filter is applied) is displayed (e.g., "Total 125 results"). ### 2. Audit Log Table The log table captures the details of every system action. Each column is sortable: | Column | Description | |--------|-------------| | **Created** | The date and time the event was recorded. | | **Action** | The type of activity that occurred (e.g., DEPARTMENT_ADDED, USER_CREATED, DOCUMENT_SIGNED). | | **User** | The user account responsible for initiating the action. | | **Details** | A summary description of the event, including the entity affected (e.g., "Department Test added successfully"). | | **IP Address** | The IP address from which the action was initiated. | > **Info** > > All columns in the audit log table are sortable, allowing you to organize events by date, action type, user, or IP address. ### 3. Export Logs The **Export Logs** button (located in the top right of the log table) allows administrators to download the displayed log data. **How it works:** - Clicking this button initiates a download of the log entries that currently match the applied **Date Range** filter - Logs are typically exported as a standard file format (e.g., CSV or JSON) for external analysis or long-term archiving > **Tip** > > Export logs regularly for compliance requirements and to maintain historical records beyond the system's retention period. ### View Details Each log entry includes a **three-dot menu** (⋮). **Steps to view event details:** 1. Click the three-dot menu next to a log entry 2. For specific actions, select the **View Details** option 3. A supplementary window opens, providing granular information about the specific event (e.g., the exact payload or parameters used when a user was created) > **Info — NOTE** > > Not all log entries may have detailed information available. The View Details option appears only for actions that contain additional granular data.
