This process makes the certificate available for use when signing documents associated with the chosen department. 1. Navigate to the **Certificates** tab and click the **+Add Certificate** button. A new pop-up window will appear. 2. Select the relevant **Department** from the dropdown list. This selection determines which documents can be signed using this specific certificate. > **Important** > > The department selection is necessary as it controls certificate access and usage permissions. 3. In the provided column, enter the certificate **Passkey**. Passkey is the password set when PKCS12 certificate was created. It decrypts the private key in the certificate file. This credential is required to protect and securely utilize the certificate during the signing process. 4. Next, you need to upload your **PFX certificate file**. **Requirements:** - File type: Only PKCS12 format (.p12 or .pfx files) - Max file size: 5MB > **Caution** > > Be sure you are uploading the correct file type (.pfx). Ensure your file meets the size requirements before uploading. 5. Click **Add Certificate** to securely upload the file and link the new certificate to the department you selected. Once the certificate is successfully added: - The certificate will be linked to the selected department - Users in that department can use this certificate for signing documents - The certificate will appear in the certificate dropdown during the signing process. > **Info — NOTE** > > You cannot set or change the certificate expiry date. The expiry date is built into the PFX file itself and will be automatically read from the certificate you upload.
