They will assist you with license generation and provide the license file. > **Info** > > Our support team will guide you through the license acquisition process and ensure you receive the appropriate license file for your SignStation instance. ## Upload Your License to SignStation Once you receive your license file from our support team, follow these steps to upload and activate it: ### Steps to Upload License 1. Navigate to **License Manager** in the Settings menu 2. Click the **Create License** button 3. Upload the license file provided by our support team 4. Click **Create License** to activate ### License Activation After uploading: 1. The system will validate the license file 2. If valid, the license will be activated immediately 3. You'll see a success message confirming the license has been applied 4. The new license will appear in the License Management table with an **ACTIVE** status ## Understanding License Upload Errors If your license file upload is unsuccessful, you may encounter one of the following error messages. ### Common Error Messages | Error Message | Description | |---------------|-------------| | "Your license has expired. Please renew your license or contact support." | The license file has passed its expiration date. | | "License validation failed. The license may be invalid or corrupted. Please contact support." | License validation failed due to invalid JWT format, tampered file, invalid signature, public key mismatch, or file corruption. | | "You have reached the limit for [resource] in your current license. Please upgrade your license or contact support." | The current license has reached its capacity for a specific resource (such as signatures, users, or other features). | > **Info** > > If you encounter any of these errors, contact our support team with the error message.
